To bring exceptional returns to our shareholders while uplifting the quality of life for artisanal miners around the world, protecting the environment, and reducing or eliminating the toxic chemicals historically associated with mining precious metals.


The GoldWest trading group has a combined 50 years of experience in the precious metals industry and over a decade of experience sourcing gold-bearing ores and concentrates from Mexico and South America. In addition, our partners have been awarded a national business award from the US Chamber of Commerce, and consulted or developed projects in over 30 countries. Here is our team:

George Amarica

Managing Partner

George Amarica has an extensive background in strategic planning, project management, international marketing, enterprise development, investment promotion, technology transfer, engineering, metallurgy, and human resource development. Mr. Amarica received a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy degree from McGill University in Canada and a Master’s degree from MER University in Switzerland. He has held positions as an engineer for aerospace manufacturers and was involved in research and development, production engineering, quality control, robotics design and international technology transfer and licensing. Mr. Amarica has also held senior management positions with one of Canada’s leading computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) companies.

In 1985, Mr. Amarica established Amplus International Development Corporation which has provided consulting and overseen investment projects in over 25 countries. As the President of AMPLUS, he has consulted for all levels of government as well as a broad range of private sector clients in a variety of industry sectors. He became involved in the gold industry over 25 years ago and has worked on gold projects in Canada, USA, Mexico, Africa and South America.

Prior to joining GoldWest LLC as a founding partner, Mr. Amarica was a managing member of Amplus LLC, whose proprietary and environmentally low-impact gold recovery process has been funded by major financing institutions and has established a gold recovery facility outside Reno Nevada. For GoldWest Mr. Amarica is involved in international business development but oversees all technical aspects of sourcing gold bearing materials from South America.


Ralph Grosswald

Managing Partner

Ralph Grosswald is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and continued with doctoral studies in organizational development at the University of Cincinnati. He has founded a number of successful businesses as well as consulted with dozens of companies, and has employed over 1000 people in his business career. In 1994 Mr. Grosswald was honored with the prestigious National Blue Chip Enterprise Award from the US Chamber of Commerce, having been chosen from over 700 nominated companies.

From 1984 to 1996 Mr. Grosswald was involved in the development of a new type of pharmaceutical capsule. He raised $12.5 million, hired top experts in the pharmaceutical field, and negotiated and secured a worldwide exclusive license from Dow Chemical International for critical raw materials. At the time he sold his holdings to an investment group in 1997, his company was producing over 2 billion capsules a year with markets in 30 countries, giving Mr. Grosswald extensive international business experience. Subsequently, his company was acquired by the R.P. Scherer Company, the world’s largest producer of softshell capsules.

Mr. Grosswald is a founding and managing member of Amplus LLC, a precious metals technology company which has developed proprietary protocols and equipment for an environmentally friendly and mostly recyclable gold recovery process. Mr. Grosswald joined the formation of GoldWest in 2017 to add his prior experience in international business and precious metals. He handles business development, strategic planning, marketing, and legal and financial issues.


R. A. Gram

CFO

R. A. (Rod) Gram is a corporate finance specialist and Chartered Professional Accountant with over 35 years of experience in business and finance. He is a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal and the Chartered Accountancy program in Ontario, Canada. In addition, he has successfully completed the Corporate Finance Program and other courses through CPA Canada. Mr. Gram began his career in big four accounting firms and has worked on every continent. He formerly worked world-wide for a major international luxury hotel company including serving as Controller at their Jakarta, Indonesia property.

Mr. Gram also has additional experience in the software, manufacturing, and service industries, serving in senior management, control, sales, and finance and accounting positions. He oversees all aspects of financial activities for GoldWest.
